By accessing or using Policy Gauge, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description & AI Disclaimers

Policy Gauge provides AI-assisted insurance policy gap analysis and automated agency intake services. AI extraction and scoring estimates are provided for informational and benchmarking purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate information, policy reviews and quotes are subject to spelling errors, optical character recognition limits, or AI errors. Final coverage parameters are governed solely by the formal policy contracts issued by carriers.

3. No Binding Authority

Submitting a request for quotes, transmitting documents, filling out intake forms, or communicating with Policy Gauge via email, phone, or text does NOT bind, activate, or modify insurance coverage. Insurance coverage can only be bound after underwriting approval is granted by the specific insurance carrier and written confirmation is issued by a licensed agent.

4. Geographic & Licensing Restrictions

Policy Gauge is an independent insurance agency licensed in the State of California (License #6018474) and is authorized to transact business in California, Arizona, Connecticut, Iowa, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, and Wisconsin. Insurance products, pricing, and programs are not available in all states or territories. The services offered on this site are intended solely for individuals and entities in jurisdictions where Policy Gauge is licensed and authorized to sell insurance.

5. Third-Party Carrier Trademarks

All third-party carrier trademarks, service marks, logos, and names (including but not limited to Travelers, Chubb, ERGO Next, and Hiscox) displayed on our platform are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names and marks does not imply any partnership, affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship between Policy Gauge and the carrier unless explicitly stated.

6. SMS & Text Message Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from Policy Gauge regarding quote updates, policy analysis reports, and service reminders. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying "STOP". For help, reply "HELP". Consent is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the intake and audit processes. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

8. Limitation of Liability

Policy Gauge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service, reliance on automated AI analysis summaries, or any system downtime.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms as modified.
